After three years of being away from his hometown, Lloyd Bannings returns in an effort to follow in the footsteps of his deceased brother’s footsteps , and become a member of an organization called the Crossbell Police Department. Lloyd arrives and discovers the department has assigned him to Special Support Section. This is the division that takes care of small and unusual needs. His new team comprises Elie MacDowell (granddaughter of the mayor); Randy Orlando (ex-soldier who’s asexual); and Tio Plato (young technological genius).
Lloyd and his colleagues continue their fight for a better city, though their organization is often ridiculed by the media. While doing so, however they gradually come in contact with the corrupt criminality that has engulfed their town. They don’t realize how far the Shadows from Crossbell City reach…
