Mutate IO Game Review

Mutate.io, or Mutatio, is a multiplayer variation of agar.io. It lets players play as blobs, which are able to feed, grow as well as mutate to attack players.
This game was designed to participate in the Pygame Community New Years jam (theme of mutation) It was my first attempt to use the jam to get to know networking better and test game design habits that I’m still not familiar with (e.g. A less global state
The only server currently is my own: 34.76.77.52, which I’ll probably keep up until a few months following the release. The maximum number of simultaneous clients allowed is 10.

Versions: version 1.0.1 was made available prior to the conclusion of the jamversion 1.0.2 contained minor bug fixings in the server.py file to address unexpected disconnections from clients. “Slim” version are compiled version where I made an effort to get rid of the DLLs, folders or any other file that I don’t believe you need to run the application.
